Immigration Services

Supports for immigrant students and families fall into three categories: legal services, know your rights, and language access.

Legal Services

Hosting an ActionNYC clinic brings legal professionals to your school to provide legal services and screenings.

If you are interested in learning more, reach out to Anthi Markatos, ActionNYC Program Manager.

You can also refer individual families whose immigration status is in question to an local organization that hosts ActionNYC clinics on a regular basis.

To make an appointment, call 1-800-354-0365 between 9AM-6PM, Monday - Friday or call 311 and say "ActionNYC".

Know Your Rights

Bring a Know Your Rights Forum (one to two hour educational workshops) on either Workers' Rights or General Information to your school.

To request a KYR Forum, please complete this short form or contact Rebecca Hoyt.

Language Access

We Speak NYC online platform provides tools and resources for anyone learning or teaching English.
