Supports for immigrant students and families fall into three categories:
Legal Services
Hosting an ActionNYC clinic brings legal professionals to your school to provide legal services and screenings.
If you are interested in learning more, reach out to Anthi Markatos, ActionNYC Program Manager.
You can also refer individual families whose immigration status is in question to an local organization that hosts ActionNYC clinics on a regular basis.
To make an appointment, call 1-800-354-0365 between 9AM-6PM, Monday - Friday or call 311 and say "ActionNYC".
Know Your Rights
Bring a Know Your Rights Forum (one to two hour educational workshops) on either Workers' Rights or General Information to your school.

Language Access
We Speak NYC online platform provides tools and resources for anyone learning or teaching English.
The Department of Education also provides free translation and interpretation services for schools for in-person, real time, or paper translations. Find information about it here.
