Wire Stripping and Splicing Skills

This is a skills task to practice your electronics tinkering. Follow the steps. Take photographs.....and post your progress in a blog post titled wire stripping and splicing skills.

1. Cut five lengths of 22 AWG solid wire and strip 1/2-in of insulation from each end. Have your classmate video you stripping one of the wires and post on your blog.
2. Splice three of your wires in a circuit connected to an LED and a coin cell battery.
3. Add a second LED to your circuit - the LED should be added IN PARALLEL to your lighted LED in task 2 above. You don't have to break the circuit to add the second LED. This requires you to splice 3 wires together in a "TEE"
