My students....have the most interesting Fab Lab student web sites in the world (I know.....sounds like a bad parody of The Most Interesting Man in the World, a character in an advertising campaign for the Dos Equis brand of beer)
The student photos above and below are the most interesting "bio" photos from student web sites. Students are encouraged to be playful and design their web sites as if they are web publishers trying to keep eyeballs on their web sites while they tell their story. Sometimes, a picture is worth a thousand words, and the creative way students invite you to view their site (via their personal photo) is a great hook to a fulfilling and satisfying web viewing experience. For others......the boring yearbook photo disguises the entertainment and public celebration of their personal design and discovery that is buried in their web site.
