This list highlights the lunchtime and after school study support sessions that staff are offering in school.

National E-Learning Offer

No matter your age or stage in school, the link above takes you to a wealth of study resources, inlcuding e-Sgoil links (as posted on this page) as well as additional study resources you can download or interact with online. These are split into BGE and Senior Phase resources, and are searchable by subject, level and topic.

e-Sgoil Study Support

Free online Study Support is available to all our pupils via e-Sgoil. Registration for e-Sgoil live Evening Webinars is now open.

Webinars in Maths, English, Social Subjects and Science subjects will start in the week beginning September 26th.

All other subject webinars will start in the week beginning October 31st.

Registration for Evening Webinars can be completed at Digital learning from Comhairle Nan Eilean Siar | e-Sgoil

Pupils will need to login with their GLOW details to register.

Achieve #Learning

Achieve #Learning is an interactive resource for all Forres Academy pupils, where you can:

Access interactive digital text books for each course, with key concepts fully explained and illustrated.

Test your subject knowledge using our online assessment module.

Traffic light your strengths and areas for improvement.

SUCCEED Student Support Pack Forres Academy.pdf

Succeed

SUCCEED can be accessed through ACHIEVE, using pupils' Glow login details. This resource offers over 50 learning and study guides which give learners lots of advice on how to study. Pupils can also create their own flashcards, revision logs and timetables while also learning lots of strategies and tips on how to study effectively. A support pack including all of the key features of SUCCEED can be found here.

Scholar

Scholar is an online interactive resource created to help learners studying for National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher subjects. All Forres Academy pupils have free access and can login via the Scholar tile in GLOW.

Scholar also offers free online tutorial sessions.
