Forres Academy is a six year non-denominational secondary school serving the town of Forres and its extensive rural catchment area in west Moray. This includes the villages of Alves, Dallas, Dyke, Logie, Kinloss (including children of Army personnel) and Findhorn (including the nearby Findhorn Community). A small number of pupils also transfer to the Academy from the local Drumduan. 

The school roll is approximately 850. This varied catchment provides the school with a vibrant and unique atmosphere.
