The S3/4 National 4 takes a 2-year approach to achieving National 4 alongside all of it's units.

It starts off by aiming to capture the National 3 Numeracy to ensure a fundamental understanding of numeracy concepts before progressing onto the course content for National 4.

The units are all mixed in to provide a more even spread across the year to provide more opportunity to revise and cement understanding of these concepts as National 4 units are sought.

The National 4 units are:

• Numeracy

• Expressions & Formulae

• Relationships

• Added Value Unit

If time permits at the end of the course National 5 Numeracy, or another Applications of Mathematics Unit at level 5 will be captured.
