Transition to Forres Academy

Most students join us at the end of their P7, and from one of our cluster primary schools. These are:

There is a comprehensive programme in place to support young people in getting ready to transition to academy life, and this involves work within P7 classes, and with mixed school groups from across the cluster. Information and the necessary documentation will be shared with you through the primary school you are associated with, and during our information evenings.

If your child is already in Secondary education in another Scottish school or beyond, contact the school office for information about moving to Forres Academy.

Primary-Secondary Transition 2024

This presentation was delivered to parents at the first transition event in January 2024. It gives information ont he transition process for this year and information on our building and improvement priorities.
