Computing

The Computing Department in Forres Academy covers both ICT and Computing Science.

In S1/S2 BGE the focus is more on ICT with a bit of Computing Science.

In S3 BGE and the Senior Phase the content is Computing Science.

We have tried to make use of software which is freely available to our learners wherever possible. The rationale is that we can provide a 'taster' so to speak, and if anyone wishes to continue in their own time they are able to do so. All will run on a MS Windows device. Other devices such as Android or iOS have some restrictions.
