Listen to the story 'Olaf Gives Thanks' written by Colin Hosten.
Olaf lists all of the things he is thankful for.
What are you thankful for?
Adult help needed.
Range of fresh fruit (e.g. strawberries, blueberries, grapes, banana, rock melon, kiwi fruit, oranges, pineapple, watermelon, mango)
Skewers
Prepare the fruit into small pieces.
Thread the fruit pieces onto the skewers. You may like to put them on in rainbow order.
Enjoy the fresh and healthy treat!
Piece of card
Glue
Salt
Liquid Watercolours or Food Colouring
Paintbrush
Squeeze glue onto the piece of card. Use it to 'draw' your picture or pattern by making glue lines.
Sprinkle salt over all of the glue lines. Make sure to cover the glue as much as possible.
Tilt the piece of card to remove the excess salt.
Dip a paintbrush in liquid watercolours or food colouring mixed with a little bit of water. Gently hold the tip of the paintbrush near the salt. The colour will flow off the paintbrush and onto the salt.
Let it dry.

Think of an object and draw it for someone else to guess what it is. That sounds too easy, so let’s make it more challenging and fun!
Choose one of these silly ways to draw your picture.
Try drawing:
using your other hand
with your eyes closed
holding the far end of the pencil
with the pencil in your toes
with your paper taped to the underside of a table
with both hands at the same time
upside down (with the picture facing away from you)
any other silly way you can think of!
Use the pattern template to create your own bold pattern picture. Use the example to help you.
Print out the activity you want to do. There is a colour by word, maze, word search and maths crack the code.
There are plenty of fun videos to keep you moving, singing and to inspire your creativity. Check out the Fun Friday page under the Specialists Activities tab on the Learning Hub or click on the link below.
