Active learn is an online platform that provides levelled books suited for the students, we would like you to read at least one book a day and this can be accessed on www.activelearnprimary.com.au
Their log in information should be at the back of their magic words book.
Magic Words are the most common words in English and are the most important words in learning to read.
Magic 100 Words make up half of all the words in reading.
Once your child can confidently recognise all the words in the set they are learning they can start practising the next set as well!
Read through your words once a day.
A great way to revise your words is through playing a game! You can play Four in a Row, Sight Word Seek, Word Bingo or Sight Word Smash (please see previous learning for links and resources).

Watch the video on the diagraph 'Wh'.
Now have a go a carefully tracing the 'wh' on the handwriting sheet.
Next, see if you can colour in all of the pictures that contain the wh sound.
Once you have coloured your pictures in you can draw some more things that have the diagraph wh on the back of you page.
You may even want to have a go at writing the word to match your picture, don't forget to sound out.
