Fun Footy Friday!

Please take your attendance

Friday 17th September

Whole Class Google Meet - 9am: Come dressed in your favourite footy team or sports colours

For this session your child will require a : -

Big smile :)
Sense of pride over what they have achieved whilst learning from home
Their best listening skills
Their Disney character knowledge
Their dancing shoes

And a readiness to play games and have some fun to celebrate the end of term!

Task 1: Listen to the story about why I love footy.

'Why I Love Footy' read aloud

Watch the author Michael Wagner read his book called 'Why I Love Footy'. It is a great story for football fans!

Task 2: Design your own football shirt

Design your own AFL kit

Using the template provided design your own AFL kit. Think about different colour combinations, patterns, stripes, stars etc. to make your design stand out and represent what you would like to wear.

If you would prefer you could instead design your tutu, swimming suit, dance costume, leotard, wetsuit etc. to suit the sport of your choice.

Optional Task 3: Football ordering

Football number ordering from 1 to 20

Use the 2 templates provided to cut out the number balls from one to twenty and then arrange them in order on the soccer pitch.

If you are confident with numbers, you may like to try and arrange them in reverse order like you were counting from 20 down to 1.
