SENSITILE TILE SYSTEMS - TERRAZZO™
Sensitile Systems® Sensitile Terrazzo is a fine concrete mix embedded with resinous light conducting channels and formed into slabs or tiles that shift, shimmer, and twinkle in response to light, movement and shadows.
Terrazzo families include PIXA (light filtering), Sensitile Terrazzo (interactive) and Terrazzo Lumina (light emitting). Interactive Sensitile Terrazzo® is embedded with light conducting channels. Light-filtering PIXA® screens use light to divide spaces, while also connecting those who inhabit them. Terrazzo Lumina® utilizes a hidden LED source that transmits light through embedded channels.
Sensitle Terrazzo is suitable for flooring, countertops, feature walls, signage, horizontal and vertical surfacing and cones in 50 colors. Finishes include Polished, sandblasted, honed, and factory finish. It is also available in with 1/4" projections and can be formed into 2D and 3D shapes.
Terrazzo™ is a sustainable material containing at least 6% and potentially up to 18% post-consumer recycled content, as well as a significant proportion of regrind.
