OLINER FIBRE VULCANEX®

Vulcanized fiber in colors red, black, white and gray

Oliner Fibre's Vulcanex® is a vulcanized fibre, which is a hard, durable, chemically pure cellulose product that contains no resin or bonding agents. It is manufactured in rolls, coils, sheets, tubes and rods. The electrical grade of vulcanized fibre is sometimes referred to as fish paper. It has superior flatness, punching and forming capabilities, and better dimensional stability than other types of vulcanized fibre.

Vulcanized Fibre can be used for washers, insulating plates, switch and appliance insulation, electric motor insulation, gaskets, automobile parts, luggage, patterns, and many other applications.

It can be made as thin as .005″ and as thick as 1″ and thicker. Thin Vulcanex can be formed and bent, punched and die cut. Thick Vulcanex can be punched, drilled, sanded, routed and fabricated in many other ways. It comes in several colors, and commercial, electrical grade and special grades (Thick Homogeneous Fibre, SuperWhite Bright White Fibre and Flame Retardant Fibre).
