AR METALLIZING PAPERS

Metalized paper food wrap
Package box done with litho lamination

AR Metallizing manufactures metalized papers in a four step process. In the precoating process a base varnish is applied to increase the paper's gloss and seal the pores that are inherent in paper. In the metallizing process a thin layer of aluminium is applied. The paper is then post-coated to make it more brazier resistant. In the final process of roll finishing, the paper is cut to customer specifications. Holographic paper and board is also available.

Finished products offered include labels (wet strength, general, pressure sensitive), envelopes, graphic papers and commercial print, gift wrap and food wrap.

Unlike foil laminations which cannot be part of a commercial recycling stream, metallized paper is a recyclable mono-material. Further, any raw materials aren’t used as part of the metallizing process are simply recycled.
