KARST STONE PAPER NOTEBOOKS

Karst Stone Paper Notebooks are made from paper made by mixing calcium carbonate powder with a high quality, non-toxic, non-virgin resin. Heat and pressure are applied, and after many rotations through some extremely large and heavy rollers, the material is thin enough to be used as paper. This is then cut and bound notebooks. Softcover notebooks are bound with vegan leather covers.

Any production scraps are turned again into fresh stone paper. Since stone paper is degradable and only made of 2 components, when heat is applied, the paper is able to degrade back into the powder it was when it first started, for us to use in further batches of stone paper. This process is very similar to when an eggshell naturally decomposes in nature, just accelerated. Karst Stone Paper holds a C2C Cradle to Cradle Silver.
