HAPPY CONCRETE - CONCRETE FUR

Happy Concrete was created by Dutch designer Iwan Pol, a multidisciplinary designer who focuses on the human perception of matter. Creating a sensory experience through the experimental use of material and color is the starting point for his investigative design methodology.

He believes concrete is a material so often applied, yet it’s aesthetic potential is underused. As concrete can take any shape, animal fur is the inspiration behind FUR. Appliction of these tiles can create a soft looking and seamless surface both indoors and outdoors.

The material is available in standard single colours white, black, pink, beige, dark blue and grey, but can also be custom colored.

FUR tiles are treated with a high quality ultra matt 2 -component polyurethane coating which protects the surface from water and stain. FUR can be mounted to any sturdy and flat surface using suitable construction adhesive. It has been applied to wall and floor surfaces and used in furniture pieces as well.
