Regarding Recent Fee Rationalization at Lusaka Oaktree School
Date: June 8, 2024
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The Lusaka Oaktree School (LOTS) Board of Directors would like to address your concerns regarding the recent fee rationalization implemented for the 2024-25 academic year. We understand that any increase in fees can be a burden, and we want to assure you this decision wasn't taken lightly.
Our Commitment to Sustainability and Quality
A thorough review process was conducted to ensure the fee increase is essential for LOTS to achieve its mission and vision of providing a high-quality, internationally recognized Cambridge education. Delivering exceptional education, attracting and retaining qualified teachers, and maintaining enabling facilities, all require a sustainable financial foundation.
Transparency and Affordability
We recognize the economic challenges faced by many families. While the fee increase is necessary, we are committed to keeping education at LOTS affordable. Here's how:
Fee Freeze for 2025-26: The adjusted fees for the 2024-25 academic year will remain valid for the following year (2025-26) – barring unforeseen circumstances.
Focus on Value: We are constantly evaluating ways to optimize resources and improve service delivery to ensure you receive the best possible value for your investment.
Discount Provision As Per Fee Schedule 2024-25
A 5% discount is applicable on advance payment of the annual tuition fee.
A sibling discount of 5% can be availed. (Note that sibling discount is applied on lower grade child/children)
A discount of 5% on the Term 1 tuition fee is available to students, who have completed at-least 1 academic year at the school.

We appreciate your continued trust and support. Together, we can ensure LOTS remains a premier educational institution offering an affordable, internationally recognized education for all students.
