History

The original xbox was out on November 15,2001, in North America. Xbox started way back in 1998 with Kevin Bachus, Seamus Blackley, Otto Berkes, and Ted Hase starting Microsoft’s first console after bringing their idea to Bill Gates.

Why Xbox?

Have you ever wondered why Xbox is called Xbox? Well, today I will tell you why. The name for Xbox was actually the Directx-Box because it came from a gathering of Microsoft directX developers, but then, was later changed into Xbox.
