The very first horse to win the Kentucky derby was Astrides in 1875
The idea was formed a the May Church Racetrack when they were watching the horse jumping

The longest time for a derby is two hours two min 7 seconds. The horse that rode was Giacco the owner of the horse was Mr-Ms Jerome the jockey was Mike Smith the trainer was named John Shirreffs.
