Behavior
Prairie dogs like to protect their pack by communicating with large cries. They hustle in their holes when danger is near. They are very active during the day and they begin to peer out of there holes when they are 5-7 weeks old.

What do Prairie dogs eat ?
Prairie Dogs lIke to eat different grasses, roots, weeds and blossoms. They will eat the occasional Insects and small fish. They also like to eat seeds and dead vegetation.

What climate do prairie dogs live in ?
They live near Utah and Mexico they also like to live on the grasslands of North America. They also only like to live in moist soil but the area must be well drained. They live in small underground tunnels.
