Elephant Seals live in the ocean so they would have some ocean prey. Some things they eat are fish, squid, and other cephalopods that live in the ocean. They must love ocean food!
You know how Elephant Seals have prey? They also have predators. Elephant Seals predators are great white sharks and killer whales. That’s really really scary. Imagine having to be scared of having to be eaten by a great white shark and a killer whale!

They have the name Elephant Seal because of there trunk like nose. Only male Elephant Seals haves the trunk like nose. What will a male do with a trunk like nose? They make a big sound to warn other male Elephant Seals to stay away!
When Elephant Seals dive underwater, their heart rate slows down
and they stop breathing because they are mammals so they can't breath underwater, but they can hold their breath for a long time. Also they have a thick layer of blubber to keep them warm during the winter or other cold times!
