Learner accounts are granted to all learners who complete the learner registration process. For more information on the learner portal and the role of learners in the challenge, visit the "Learner Portal" page of this playbook.
Super-admins can manage learner accounts in the "Modules > Students" section of the super-admin portal. This page offers the super-admin the ability to (i) view, edit and delete the individual user profiles, (ii) view and adjust the learners score-breakdown; (iii) resend their OTP verification; (iv) review their credibility weighting history; and (v) view an individual learners' certificate.
Super-admins can manage learner accounts in the "Modules > Learners" section of the super-admin portal. This page lists every single learner that has completed the learner registration process and details information on their user profile and their interactions with the system, including: their contact details, credibility weighting, number of points earned, number of reviews complete, their school affiliation, etc.
Super-admin users can edit learner profiles in the "Modules > Students" page of the super-admin portal by clicking on the "pen/paper" icon in the actions column of the learner table. Fields configurable in the learner profile by the super-admin include:
First name
Last name
Mobile
Gender (required)
School (required)
Grade (required)
School Class
ID Number
Enabled Configuration (to be selected for active teacher accounts)
Username (cannot be edited) (required)
Credibility weighting (super-admins can change the teacher credibility weighting)
Email (required)
Password (super-admins can reset the learner password)
Super-admin users can delete learner profiles in the "Modules > Students" page of the super-admin portal by clicking on the "trash can" icon in the actions column of the learner table.
To participate in the challenge, learners and teachers must be affiliated to a registered school. Super-admins can manage learner school affiliations in the "Modules > Students" section of the super-admin portal. Super-admins can manage learner school suggestions in the "Modules > Student School Suggestions" section of the super-admin portal. This page logs instances where a learner has attempted to register a school that does not form part of the schools list in the system database.
Note: students school suggestions will only appear when the challenge is configured to allow for participation of schools not listed in the system database. Super-admin users can add points to a learner profile in the "Modules > Students" page of the super-admin portal by clicking on the "up/down arrows" icon in the actions column of the learner table. The super-admin is required enter
the amount of points that he/she wishes to add or remove (include a "-" sign) from the learner score
a brief description as to the rationale for why those points have been adjusted
Super-admin users can view a log of all the points a learner has earned in the "Modules > Students" page of the super-admin portal by clicking on the "stacked horizontal bar" icon in the actions column of the learner table.
Super-admin users can locate, view and reset learner submissions in the "Modules > Submissions" page of the super-admin portal. The super-admin user can search for the relevant submissions in the table listing all submissions, and use the icons in the "Actions" column to view and rest these reviews as needed. The super-admin user can also edit the scores for submissions using the "pend and paper" icon in the actions column of this table.
Super-admin users can edit a learners credibility weighting in the "Modules > Students" page of the super-admin portal by clicking on the "pen/paper" icon in the actions column of the learner table and locating the "Credibility Weighting" field.
Super-admin users can view a log of how a learner credibility weighting has changed over time in the "Modules > Students" page of the super-admin portal by clicking on the "circle-shaped arrow" icon in the actions column of the learner table.
Super-admin users can locate, view and delete learner reviews in the "Modules > Reviews" page of the super-admin portal. The super-admin user can search for the relevant reviews in the table listing all reviews, and use the icons in the "Actions" column to view and delete these reviews as needed.
