Given the nascent phase in which Wavumbuzi's true long term M&E function finds itself, this section serves to curate the several foundational measurement and reporting exercises conducted to this point. The platform upon which to build going forward will be the M&E model which was drafted at the 2021 Wavumbuzi Summit in Kigali, which built on the newfound BHAG set by the team with an eye to assessing long term progress toward it.

The latter parts of 2020 and early parts of 2021 saw the carrying out of the Wavumbuzi Randomised Control Trial, conducted by a third party research firm. The landmark project sought to evaluate the impact that the challenge was having on entrepreneurial mindsets and intent. A collection of deeper resources on the project has been gathered below.
