In order to efficiently reach teachers and learners and encourage their participation, we endeavour to build strategic partnerships with several in-country organizations to promote the Wavumbuzi Challenge within their networks.
Access school networks that we wouldn’t have been able to reach without their support.
Build credibility amongst teachers, headteachers and even parents about the Wavumbuzi programme
Distribute the value of Wavumbuzi to schools directly where we previously had no line of communication.
Although the partner organisation relationships are managed directly by the Country Directors, the marketing team still supports the Country Director with a number of items to ensure that we are providing value to them.
Below we’ve listed a number of ways in which the marketing team supports the Country Director with regards to partner organisation relations:
Including partner logos on the recruitment/marketing graphics (this is only applicable once we’ve got their approval)
Example here
Drafting comms to share with partners including ad-hoc updates on their schools/district/county performance + challenge updates
Example here
Creating graphics + drafting messages for partners to share within their own networks (via WhatsApp groups/messages/emails)
Example here (image + copy)
this message was drafted by the JMO > shared with the Country Director > Country Director shared with Partner organization > PO then shared in their network WhatsApp Group
