This is a virtual information session held for all teachers. The purpose of the session is to provide teachers with more information about Wavumbuzi, to help those who have not yet registered, to register and to prepare teachers to support learners during the Challenge.
This takes place before the Challenge starts and there are usually a number of sessions available (8-10) to provide different options for teachers to attend the sessions that suit them.
In these sessions teachers can familiarize themselves with Wavumbuzi, address any questions/concerns they may have directly with a Wavumbuzi team member and connect with other teachers also participating in Wavumbuzi.
The training is run by the Project Manager and Teacher Liaison. They are in charge of the planning, agenda, agenda items and running of the session. The marketing team will assist with creating the invites and drafting & sharing the comms to market the event.
