Updates (11/3/25)
We’ve had a few recurring items come up during Audits & LightReach reviews that we need to stay mindful of moving forward:
• Panel Label Photos (PPAs):
LightReach have been cross-referencing module serial numbers across projects. If panel label photos are reused, they are automatically flagged. For all PPA projects, please ensure that panel label photos are taken on-site and are unique to the job.
• SolarEdge Consumption CT Placement:
SolarEdge consumption CTs CANNOT be installed downstream of our interconnection, nor can it be installed on just the load wires like we can with Enphase. The one and ONLY setup that is allowed is on the main lugs. If we are taping the wires our CTs need to be above them in a Load with Solar setup.
• Microinverter & Optimizer Serial Maps:
LightReach has flagged some projects where the number of micros/optimizers in the serial map didn’t match the number of panels installed. Please double-check before finalizing the map.
• Packouts (Module & Hardware):
We’ve seen several non-domestic content projects going out with U650 and SIL-440 QD DCA3 equipment. Please verify material packouts before leaving the warehouse. If something looks off, flag it with the Warehouse Manager or call it in before installation.
July
7/1/24- We shouldn't cheating fire setbacks
7/1/24 - In downtime we can work through this queue. https://ionsolar.lightning.force.com/lightning/r/Report/00OPC000000fIU12AM/view
7/2/24 - We need to be more careful about LightReach jobs. We have already gotten one rejected due to missing photos and no cell unit installed. The design tool is being updated right now to call out a cell unit, but we need to make sure we have the photos.
7/3/24 - Make sure that we are checking that the array's match plans (or that they called and got it approved.)
7/9/24 - When we are doing audits please check on who the financier is. You can just hover over the financing section and it will show you on the left hand side. If it is a LightReach account we HAVE to get these done, and get them done quickly. We also NEED cell units installed on them.
7/10/24 - The financing is now in our queue, Keep a eye out for lightreach jobs
7/11/24 - Make sure that when you are making tickets or updating tickets (like from the Needs scope) you are filling out the field "Customer required". We already have it on the written template, but there is an actual field that shows in our PA when we make tickets to fill it out, but if you manually make a ticket you will have to go in and fill that field in manually.

7/11/24 - A new pop up for light reach jobs
7/12/24 - We shouldn't have our rail lay on the gutter like this as it can cause really bad scratches to the gutter. So for now, don't fail them for it but just put in the office chats to remind the OM not to do this.
7/15/24 - 2 new options to the call form
7/16/24 - In Richmond the Om said that they don't fail for unprotected wires so we can pass it off they are not protected.
7/17/24 - We are going to change up the process a bit for when the OM/crew lets us know that they need to reschedule the job. This will be instead of posting in the scheduling chat as nothing really goes through in that chat. They added fields in the SA itself for the OM to leave notes of when they want it on and whom. So, if the OM/Crew said put it on tomorrow and put it on me then you would fill that in on the bottom right. We should be directing the OM to do this as much as possible, but if they are away from their computer or the crew calls in and we make the return ticket then we can just do it right quick. If they don't give you a resource then don't bother filling that in and instead just leave the notes in the "OM Scheduling Notes" section.
7/17/24 - Just a reminder that we should be making a CO's (when applicable) for failed inspections
