To outline the standardized process for manually creating a new service appointment from the main project page in Salesforce.
1. Navigate to Schedule Service Section
From the Main Project Page in Salesforce:
Scroll down to the “Schedule Service” section
Click the “Schedule Appointment” button
2. Create Service Appointment
You will be directed to the Service Appointment creation menu
Complete the following required fields:
Service Category
Work Type
Service Territory
Description
Note:
All other fields will be completed or adjusted by the Scheduling Team
Customer Required Field
This field does not auto-populate
After creating the appointment:
Open the service appointment record
Manually select:
“Yes” or “No” for Customer Required
Work Type Duration
Each Work Type has a default duration
If a custom duration is needed:
Manually update the duration within the service appointment record
Only 4 fields are required during creation
Additional adjustments are handled by the Scheduling Team

Customer Required field
Appointment duration (if customization is needed)
