Evaluating a Source:

Currency: When was the article published or last updated? Ensure that it is current!

Relevancy: Regardless of the how current, authoritative, or reliable your source is, if it isn't relevant to your research, don't use it!

Authority: Who is the author? What makes them an expert on your topic?

Purpose: What is the purpose of the article? To educate, persuade, entertain? Check to see if it's .com, .org, .gov, or .edu
