MLA In-Text Citations
In-Text Citations are simply the first word or words of each Works Cited entry!
Always put your in-text citation in parentheses and remember that it is inserted at the end of a sentence or group of sentences that reflect information from that source. EVEN IF THE IDEAS ARE IN YOUR OWN WORDS!
If you have included a direct quote, put your in-text after the quote, but before the period!
