Part 1: Let's share where we grew up!
Take a moment to fill in each box with your answer. When the whole class is finished, we will walk around and try to find someone else in the class with the same answer as you in a specific category. When you do, sign each other's grid in the appropriate square. Talk to as many people as possible! Only look for one answer at a time. (If you and a friend have five similar answers, please don't copy all of them down at once - meet new people)! The first person to get three boxes in a row yells out, "tic-tac-toe!"

▶Do you have more or less access as other students in school? Consider wifi access, cell phones & computers.
▶How does language influence your ability to access information & use technology?
▶What are the advantages of technology? The disadvantages?
▶Look at the distance between where you live today versus where you grew up. How has technology helped us to stay in touch?
▶Look at the area in which we all live now. Does living near people mean knowing them well?
▶Do you think technology does more to bring us together or separate us?
