Activity #1: Sort the Sources!
Not every source is created equal. The types of sources you choose need to reflect your research need. In this "game," sort the sources into three categories:
Personal: aka "primary" sources
Reviewed: aka "secondary" sources
Peer-reviewed: aka "scholarly" or "academic"
Activity #2: Escape the Databases
Our school pays for access to lots of databases. You can use these to find all different types of information, including:
Overview articles of a topic
Newspaper articles
Magazine articles
Scholarly journals
Primary sources
