Explore the Time Period and Setting

Now that you have your character fleshed out, it's time to do some research on the time period/event that they've lived through! For this part of the project, you will learn background information that will help you create context and eventually a setting for your character.
Find a good background article to help you understand your topic. Use one of the databases below.
Search for your topic
Under Filters, Select "Reference Articles."
Click the "Cite" button to access citation information
Click "Get Link" to the the permanent link to return later (DO NOT grab the url from the top of your browser)

Your secondary sources should come from the Articles tab.
Click "Citation" to get the MLA citation.
To get the permanent link, click on Share and then copy the Record URL.
Now find an image from the time period (primary). Start by trying one of the databases so that they give you the citation!
