The first two weeks of school FOCUS on...
- Your Students - get to know them, support them, build relationships, and help families
- Screening - Make sure to keep checking data to identify all students and eliminate the AWs.
- Give Treats to your Clerk - Building a relationship with your Power School clerk is essential. They are super overwhelmed and busy. Work with them to get two key elements accomplished in the first two weeks of school - 1. Get the English Proficiency Codes updated and 2. Students scheduled to you. These two keys will allow you to move forward with your own data pulling and documentation.
- You have 30 days to complete ILAPs. Do them steps at time and pace yourself. Do NOT get overwhelmed. If you need help reach out to Kerry Culpepper or Tanya Franca.
