Week of March 8th

Do you have something to celebrate?  I hope we all do!  Please share with the team so we can celebrate together!  Teams that celebrate together, accelerate together!

Please complete the Google Form with celebrations!  This is ongoing throughout the year!  I will add them every Thursday in our Newsletter!

Extra Secondary Support for National Geographic Placement Google Form

Tonya Benjamin sent out extra support via e-mail on 3/16/2021.  I have included the information below:

Middle and High School teachers, you do not have to use the GoogleForm to administer the placement test.  You may use the placement test within NatGeo.  The GoogleForm was created for the rising 6th graders currently in an elementary school.  You can choose what works best for you.

If you are using the GoogleForm, you will begin  with Part 1: Phonics

Please be aware that students will need headphones, audio is embedded in the tests.

The audio will appear (pop-up) as a second tab.  Once students have listened to the directions and/or question, instruct them to close the audio so they will not have a multitude of opened tabs.

You will continue with Part 2: Reading (if needed)
