In this course, students will extend on the skills and knowledge gained in 02DES, and heighten their ability to analyse and decipher the visual world we are all immersed in.
Students will broaden their theoretical understanding of design practice through independent investigation of contemporary designers to influence their work.

Students will be expected to pay a course contribution as part of this course. This covers the cost of specialist take-home materials, and the amount will be confirmed in 2026.

External Assessment, worth 14 credits
