Course Length: Full Year

This is a theory and practical based course where students will learn about technological processes associated with soft materials which will be completed over three assessments.
Students will focus on design drawing, developing a brief, developing patterns, and constructing an outfit.
Students end the course with a Fashion Show held at the Technology Exhibition, and an opportunity to exhibit their work at Te Uru Art Gallery and Lynn Mall.
COURSE COSTS
There is a course contribution for this course of approximately $95. This will cover the cost of course material, and will be confirmed in 2026.

Internal Assessment, worth 6 credits

Internal Assessment, worth 6 credits
Achievement Standard 91337 v3 Design and Visual Communication 2.30 - Use visual communication techniques to generate design ideas
External Assessment, worth 3 credits
