Course Length: Full Year
Teacher in Charge: Ethan Li (ELI)
This course includes a blend of Mathematics and Statistics, with all standards assessed internally.
Students will complete research on a statistical comparison, develop a purpose statement and question, analyse the data, supported by NZGrapher software, and then write a conclusion to summarise their findings and answer their question.
Students will also learn about coordinate geometry, and gain a deeper understanding of probability by using simulations.
COURSE COSTS
To be advised at the beginning of the 2026 school year, however, students are encouraged to purchase their own Casio FX82AU scientific calculator.
