In this supported learning course, students will learn and develop a range of skills for life beyond school, including preparing for work, rights and responsibilities, and maintaining personal safety and wellbeing.
All supported learning credits gained in this course count towards the New Zealand Certificate in Skills for Living for Supported Learners.

Internal Assessment, worth 2 credits
Unit Standard 1293 v8 - Be interviewed in an informal, one-to-one, face-to-face interview

Unit Standard 27106 v5 - Describe whakapapa using terms associated within a family structure
Internal Assessment, worth 2 credits
Unit Standard 29299 v3 - Access and use facilities and services in the community
Internal Assessment, worth 5 Supported Learning credits
Unit Standard 29304 v4 - Describe elements of own culture, and basic rights and responsibilities of residing in Aotearoa New Zealand

Unit Standard 29305 v3 - Set personal goals and carry out a plan designed to achieve personal goals
