In this course, students will build on the knowledge and skills learnt in Level 1 Dance, expanding their performance skills by building on genres such as Contemporary and Hip Hop, as well as learning an ethnic or social dance from another culture.
Choreography will continue to be explored through both solo and group work.
COURSE COSTS
Students will require a 1B8 exercise book.
Students will be expected to pay a course contribution as part of this course. This covers the cost of offsite activities, and the amount will be confirmed in 2026.
There may be an opportunity to further extend learning with visits to live performances or attend specialist workshops in school. These will also be confirmed in 2026.
