In this course, students will develop both choreography and performance skills, through experiencing a wide variety of styles and genres, as well as learning to understand the culture, history, and features of one genre in depth.
COURSE COSTS
Students will be expected to pay a course contribution as part of this course. This covers the cost of offsite activities, and the amount will be confirmed in 2026.
There may be an opportunity to further extend learning with visits to live performances or attend specialist workshops in school. These will also be confirmed in 2026.

Achievement Standard 91939 v4 Dance 1.4 - Demonstrate understanding of the elements of dance in a dance sequence
