In this course, students will develop knowledge and skills in the practical care and education of young children in an Early Childhood Education setting. All assessments contribute towards the National Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education, and successful completion will result in the Social and Community Services Vocational Pathways Certificate.

Unit Standard 29854 v2 - Describe personal and environmental hygiene and safety practices for the care of young children

Unit Standard 29855 v2 - Describe attachment behaviours and strategies used to support transitions for young mokopuna/children
