In this course, students will study contested history, considering 'whose' history is remembered, how it is told, and how as historians, we can challenge the master narrative.
Topics studies include analysing contested perspectives about the use of atomic weapons, considering the factors that resulted in the Holocaust, and its significance to New Zealand and the world.
