How to Void a Transaction
Locate the button called Transaction Search in the Functions Menu
Search for Transaction you would like to Void
You can search by the following:
Transaction Number
Last Four of CC
Transaction Total
or Enable Multiple Selections
Once you have found the transaction you want to void open on the Invoice Display panel, using the Functions Menu find button labeled Void Transaction
You will get a prompt that says “Void Transaction?” press the green check mark button on the prompt and it will Void the Transaction.
A receipt will print out documenting the Void and the Invoice Display panel will be empty.
** You may set limitations via the Button Menu and also change the selection to Require Confirmation for Voiding a Transaction.
