Customer Groups are used for customer loyalty purposes.
To add a new Customer Group
Select the + at the bottom of the Cust Groups screen
In the Add Customer Group screen, you will enter a name for the Customer Group under Description
You can add Customers based on the following two options
Customers - this will allow you to search for customers manually that are active in Percent POS by selecting the +
Rules - this will allow you to select one or multiple of the following conditions to have those customers to be automatically added to your customer group
Customer Group - will allow you to use other customer groups that are active in Percent POS
Phone Number - will allow you to add customes automatically based off the phone number saved in customer account
Company Phone Number - will allow you to add customers automatically based off company phone number saved in customer account
Email - will allow you to add customers automatically based off email address saved in customer account
You will also have a Loyalty type selection for the customers in this group. Loyalty type will allow you to set one of the following percentage types for the Customer Group:
Default Percentage - this percentage type is the percentage set in the System Settings for how much a customer in this group will earn in points based on their purchases. See System Settings for more information
Custom Percentage - this percentage type is a custom percentage you can set for this specific customer group for how much a customer in this group will earn in points based on their purchases
Once you have added the customers and percentage, press Save to activate your customer group.
