Go to any menu screen that you would like to assign and existing item
If you have a mouse, right click on the button you would like to use for your new item
If you only have the touch screen, hard press the button you would like to use for your new item
A screen will appear asking if you would like to Assign Item or Add New Item
Select Assign Item
Once you Press Save, your item will be added to the menu button that you selected and is ready to sell
Drop down box will appear where you can search for the item by scrolling through the list, search by item number or name
Once you select the desired item, select the green check box
Percent POS will prompt you to enter button text for your assigned item (Item Description is defaulted into the input field)
Once text desired is entered, select the green check box
Selected item will appear on the screen under the selected button on the menu screen
