Log into the Percent POS with User ID and Password
Locate the ‘Add Item Wizard’ button in the Manager Menu
Once you click on it, it will prompt you to scan the Item Number as shown above.
If the item doesn’t have a barcode, use the ‘Next PLU’ button to generate an item number automatically
Once you’ve scanned in or generated a PLU, hit the Next button on the bottom of the window
Here you will enter the Item’s Description, once this is done you may hit the Next button
In the window you will need to select a Department for the item you’re adding, simply click on the drop down menu and select the department from the list or you may add a new department and select Next
You will be prompted to ‘Enter Item Price’, enter the Unit Price using the number pad and select Next. (Select Check Box if Unit Price will include the Tax Amount).
You will now be prompted to select this Item’s tax flags.
Note: Sales tax is usually set up as Tax 1, but please verify in the Tax 1 tab in the Store Configuration menu if you are unsure or call into the office at 956-581-5911
The following Window will prompt you to enter the current Inventory Quantity for the new Item being added.
Here you will be prompted to select the Item’s Properties.
Last step will be to print any labels needed for the item being added. Once completed, select Finished button. Your item has now been added.
