Logging into Percent POS 

Percent POS offers a variety of options to allow for you to select the most efficient way for your employees to log in 

Under the System Menu - Setup - Store Configuration you will find the Login Methods under the System Tab 

Options include: 

• • Credentials 

    • Username and Password - user will have to enter both User ID and Password 

    • Username only - user will enter only their User ID to login 

    • Hidden Username - user will enter only their User ID but Percent POS will hide the User ID when inputting for login

  • Badge id - enables user to use a scan or swipe card 

  • Fingerprint - enables to user to use their fingerprint 

** NOTE - Magnetic Strip Reader (MSR) must be installed for this functionality 

Under the Manager Menu from the Selling Screen, select the button labeled Assign Badge ID 

You will be prompted to select a User from the drop down 

• Drop down will include all Active Users in Percent POS 

Select Next 

You will be prompted to Swipe Card 

Once card is swiped and read select Next 

You will be prompted to Swipe Card Again 

• Percent POS will validate if the card number is the same on both swipes. If not, it will not allow you to proceed 

Once card is swiped again, select Finish 

**NOTE - Biometric reader must be installed for this functionality 

Under the Manager Menu from the Selling Screen, select the button labeled Enroll Fingerprint

You will be prompted to select a User from the drop down 

• Drop down will include all Active Users in Percent POS 

Select Next 

You will be prompted to touch a finger to select a Finger to Enroll 

Once you touch a finger on the hands, Percent will display selected finger and ask the user to scan their finger four times. 

Each circle will appear green when registered 

Upon the fourth scan, Select Finish to complete
