Log into Percent POS with Username and Password
Access the System Menu by going through the Manager Menu or System Setting Icon on the lower left corner
Select the Users tab on the left hand side of the System Menu
Press the + (Add) button located at the bottom of the Screen
Enter User ID, Password, First Name, Permission Group, and make sure User is ‘Active’.
User ID and Password: will be what is used to log on to the POS system. The User ID field is alphanumeric, meaning it can have both letters and numbers. The Password field also is alphanumeric, you can also use symbols in the user’s password.
Permission Group: This field allows you to assign a permission level to the user using the drop down list menu. Its purpose is to restrict users from accessing parts of the system that they shouldn’t.
First and Last Name: These fields are for the user’s name, these fields also accept alphanumeric characters. First Name is Required
All other fields are Optional and for Reference use only.
Badge ID: The Badge ID field is to input the numbers on a swipe card if you will be implementing the use of swipe cards to log the users into the system. At the moment the Badge ID has a bug and is currently not functioning properly.
Driver’s License: This field is for the user’s Driver’s License Number.
Hourly Wage: Accepts numeric values to represent the employee’s hourly pay rate.
Send Clock Out SMS: will send a text message to the supervisor advising that the employee has clocked out.
Active: selection marks the employee as an Active Employee that is allowed to log in.
Is Sales Rep: allows the selected employee to appear on transactions that prompt for sales rep – i.e. if the employee is receiving commission for the sale.
Street: This field accepts the user’s address in alphanumeric characters.
City, State: The City textbox accepts alphabetical characters for the user to type in their city, and the drop down list to the right of the textbox to select the user’s State
Zip: The Zip field is for the user’s Zip Code and accepts numeric characters.
Mobile: The Mobile field is for the user’s Phone number and accepts numeric characters.
Mobile 2: The Mobile 2 field is for the user’s secondary phone number and accepts numeric characters.
Email: alpha numeric field that allows for the user’s email address to be entered.
Emergency Contact Name: The Emergency Contact Name field is for the user’s Emergency Contact’s name and this field accepts alphanumeric characters.
Emergency Contact Phone: The Emergency Contact Phone field is for the user’s Emergency Contact’s phone number and this field accepts numeric characters.
Press Save.
