Log into the Percent POS with User ID and Password
Count your Till and enter the Starting Till Amount in the field using the keypad as shown in the figure below.
After entering the Starting Till Amount you will be taken to the Selling Screen
** Shift Settings can be changed in:
System Menu – Setup – Store Configuration – Stations – Select Station – Shift and Till
Starting Till Captcha – require second authentication
Shift Starting Till – Prompt for Amount or Fixed Amount
Starting Till Prompt – Flat Amount or Denominations.
Log into the Percent POS with User ID and Password
Locate and Click on the End Shift button in Functions Menu.
Upon clicking the button, you will be prompted with any Undeclared Transactions that were processed in the system. If there aren’t any undeclared transactions, the list will be empty. You may click the Next button to continue to end the shift. If you would like to go back and close them, click the Cancel button to go back to the Sales Menu.
Next, you will be asked if you are sure you want to open the Cash Till because once you click the green checkmark button you will not be able to reopen the current shift.
You will not be allowed to go back after this step. You must finish the end shift process.
Next, you will see the Cash Declaration Screen. Here you will count the cash till and enter the amounts next to their corresponding bill and coin. As you enter the cash amounts, the system will keep calculating a total for you in the total field.
When done counting till and entering the declarations, click Next
The Total Declaration screen will show you the total amount accepted in each tender, sum them up to give you a total of all of them.
You will be prompted to enter a Declaration Notes; this field accepts alphanumeric characters and is for the User to report any discrepancies that may have occurred during their shift. Declaration Notes will print at the top of the End Shift Report under the Time Stamp.
Once you enter the shifts Declaration Notes, hit the Finish button and the shift report will print out.
