Pax Pinpad Settings

These settings are activated depending on the selection of pin pad in the Credit Settings in System 

• Comm Type - communication type of the pin pad to the terminal

  • TCP 

    • IP or MAC address

    • Port #

  • UART

    • COM Port # 

  • AIDL

Signature and Tips 

• No Merchant Copy Under $25 

• No Signature Under $25 

• Show Tip Line 

• Preset Tip Amounts - percentages will appear under the Tip Line 

• Cardholder signatures 

  • On Receipts - has the signature line on the receipt 

  • On Pin Pads - signatures accepted on the pin pad 

Pax Pinpad Commands 

• Get Serial # - retrieves serial number of the pin pad connected to the station 

• Get MID - retrieves MID of the pin pad connected to the station 

• Batch Pinpad - batches pin pad connected to the station 

• Ping Pinpad - will send a PING command to the screen of the pin pad connected to the station 

• Load Image - will load a display image on the pinpad (available on Pax A920 and Pax S300) 

• Set Timeout - allows you to set the time out of the terminal (in seconds) 

• Reboot - will send a reboot command to the pin pad connected to the station
